There aren’t many of us, male or female, who have not at some point made note of a bulging waist line and decided that it was time to do something about it. And most of us will have made some attempt at changing […]

My working life has traversed the pre-email era through to our modern email and social media dominated approaches to communications. How about you?
And if you have lived life both with and without email in your […]

Thanks Sean for your comment. I agree, all too easy to send the large volumes, I know how guilty I have also been over the years!

As for alternative approaches, there seem to be an ever increasing number of collaboration tools out there that claim to reduce email but they usually just replace one form of sending people messages with another much to the same effect. I suppose at some point social science will catch up with communications software and we'll find we start using our natural communication skills within a software environment. I know I'm looking forward to that day!

I'd love to hear some success stories on that!

There’s no such thing as a one size fits all approach to how we live our lives. We’re all different people with differing likes and dislikes and so, stipulating a single way to do anything is pretty much […]

My experience with talking about Brain Profiling to new people I meet is that, whilst most people know about the simplified ‘left-brain / right-brain’ model of how we think, very few have heard of the next level in which each hemisphere is split into two quadrants. Far less how useful it can be!

So for those of you to who this was new, tell us…[Read more]

Chameleon Brain started the topic What's been your experience of starting GTD? in the forum Personal Productivity 5 years, 5 months ago

Starting anything new is always a mixture of enthusiastic endeavour mixed with momentary lapses of sanity until you get what it is you’re supposed to do … and I know only too well from my own experience of implementing GTD that I needed to work a lot of stuff out for myself in order to get to a system that worked for me. But the rewards, which…[Read more]
