Terms & Conditions – Purchases

Any purchases off the Chameleon Brain website are subject to the following terms and conditions:

Use of this site and purchase of any products through it assumes acceptance of the terms and conditions for both Website Use as well as Purchases (this page). It is assumed that you have read the aforementioned Terms & Conditions for Website Use.
You acknowledge the fact that you are purchasing a digital product and that, unlike a physical product, it is not possible to return the product in the same manner.
We do however permit refunds under certain conditions, described below as ‘Refund Case A’ and ‘Refund Case B’.
If you wish to request a refund or Profile Code exchange, please complete the form below.

If you purchase one of the Brain Profile Packages off this site, you will receive:
- A Profile Code that allows you access to an online questionnaire for the determination of a Brain Profile.
- A website address at which the Profile Code is used to access the online questionnaire.
- An educational document on Brain Profiling titled ‘Discovering Your Whole Brain’.
  - Please note that an electronic copy of the educational document accompanies each code you purchase and is licensed for use by the individual who uses that Profile Code.
  - You are not permitted to share this document beyond the number of Profile Codes that you have bought.
  - Hence if you purchase 5 codes, you are only licensed to provide the electronic document to the 5 people who will conduct their online assessments.
- A documented set of instructions for how to complete your brain profile online.

Refund Case A:

If you have not used one of your Profile Codes on the questionnaire website and you wish to return your Profile Code, unused, for a refund, this is referred to as ‘Refund Case A’.
In the instance of ‘Refund Case A’ you will be permitted to receive a 30% refund as you will already have received the digital educational document titled ‘ Discovering Your Whole Brain’ for each person. (i.e. you will be paid back 30% of whatever amount you originally paid per package).
As the educational document is sold as part of each package and is licensed to be used by each individual for whom a code was purchased, the 30% refund applies individually to each Brain Profile Package price and will be calculated accordingly for any Profile Codes returned.
Chameleon Brain offers discounts for certain numbers of Packages purchased and if your return of one or more codes brings your remaining number of Packages to the next-lowest discount range, this will be factored into the recalculations.
‘Refund Case A’ is available to you for 30 days after the date of purchase. This rule is strictly applied.
To apply for the refund in the case of ‘Refund Case A’ complete the ‘Refund Form’ below with the requested information.
Upon receipt of your refund request, Chameleon Brain will:
- Check that the Profile Code you have returned has indeed not been used.
  - If the Profile Code has been used, no refund will possible.
    - Use of a Profile Code entails entering it on the questionnaire website along with an email address, once used in this manner it is no longer available for a refund.
- Assuming it has not been used, Chameleon Brain will cancel the Profile Code so that it may not be used at any time in the future.
- Process a refund through PayPal for an amount equaling 30% of the amount originally paid for the purchased Brain Profile Package.
- You will automatically receive an email off the PayPal site confirming your refund.

Refund Case B:

If you have purchased a Brain Profile Package for an incorrect age group, this is referred to as ‘Refund Case B’.
A refund can only be processed if you have not used the Profile Code.
Chameleon Brain offers discounts for certain numbers of Packages purchased and if your return of one or more codes brings your remaining number of Packages to the next-lowest discount range, this will be factored into the recalculations.
‘Refund Case B’ is available to you for 30 days after the date of purchase. This rule is strictly applied.
If you have used the Profile Code, no refund is possible.
If you wish to simply get a refund
- You will be refunded 30% of your original payment amount and the Profile Code will be cancelled, as per ‘Refund Case A’ above.
If you wish to rather return the code and, instead, receive a code for a different age group:
- There is a difference in price between the different age group Profile Codes and you will either be refunded the difference or will need to pay in the difference.
- To apply for the refund / Profile Code exchange in the case of ‘Refund Case B’ complete the ‘Refund Form’ below with the requested information.
- Chameleon Brain will then:
  - Check that the Profile Code you have returned has indeed not been used.
    - If the Profile Code has been used, no refund will possible.
      - Use of a Profile Code entails entering it on the questionnaire website along with an email address, once used in this manner it is no longer available for a refund.
  - Cancel the Profile Code so that it may not be used at any time in the future.
  - Manually generate a new Profile Code for the different age group.
  - Send an email to you containing the new Profile Code.
  - If money is owed back to you, you will receive an email from PayPal confirming the refund transaction.
  - If money is owed by you, you will receive an invoice for the additional amount via PayPal.
